A Schoharie Creek inside New York State flows from a foot of Indian Head in the Catskill Mountains to the Mohawk River. These are twice impounded in the north of Prattsville to create New York City's Schoharie Reservoir and a Blenheim-Gilboa Power Task.

Bridge Collapse
On the morning of April 5, 1987, after Xxx years of service, deuce spans of the New York State Thruway bridge over a Schoharie Creek collapsed. 5 vehicles fell into a flooded river, killing tenner of the occupier.
